Features
The diaphragm valve is a type of shut-off valve with diaphragm as element to close the flow path, cut off the fluid, and separate the inner cavity of the valve body from the inner cavity of the valve bonnet. Elastomeric, corrosion-resistant, non-permeable materials such as rubber and plastic are used as diaphragms, with good sealing performance. It features simple design, low fluid resistance, good sealing effect and anti-corrosion performance. The valve can be quick disassembled, repaired and changed in diaphragm. Its high corrosion and friction resistance allows it to be used in the working conditions of low pressure and temperature, and the working conditions with strongly corrosive media or fluid containing suspended solid. There are two types of diaphragm valves: full plastic type and steel lined type. It is used in pipeline systems of the chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, and electric power industries.
