Features
The drum type gear coupling is composed of two external sleeves with drum type gears and a pair of internal annular gears with straight teeth, etc. It transmits torque by means of the meshing of the internal and external teeth, and compensates the relative displacement of the two transmission shafts through the axis swing (angular displacement) of its external sleeves in the internal annular gears. It has compact and diversified design, and can rotate forward and backward; the drum shape of the tooth length direction makes the teeth contact better, boosting the coupling transmission capacity; The angular displacement of the coupling is large but the moment of inertia is small.
