As a lifting tool, the hook assembly is normally suspended on the wire rope of the lifting mechanism by means of pulley blocks and other components. It is with smooth hook surface, beautiful curve, reasonable structure design, lock hook, strong load capacity, accurate positioning, stable run, safe and reliable, convenient operation. The hook assembly includes two types i.e. the one with single hook and the one with two hooks from the point of view of structure; or forged hook and laminated hook type according to the manufacturing technique. The tool with single hook is always used for lifting the objects less than 80 t while that with double hooks used for the cases that need to lift the heavier objects with symmetrical force. The laminated hook features better safety performance, but its dead weight is higher. It is suitable for cranes, crown blocks and bridge cranes used in docks, factories, mines and petrochemical industries, etc.
