The operating temperature requirements of the reducer
Reducer is widely used in various industries, generally applied in low rotation speed, high torque transmission equipment. Its role is:
1. Reducing the speed while increasing output torque. Torque output ratio is scaled by the multiplication of motor output and the deceleration ratio. But it should be noted not to exceed the rated torque of the reducer;
2. Reducing the speed while lowering the load inertia. The reduction in inertia is the square of the deceleration ratio.
The housing temperature requirements of the speed reducer:
The operating temperature of the reducer is generally within 80 degrees Celsius. The limit working temperature of the insulating material refers to the maximum temperature of the winding insulation in the design life of the gear reducer. If the limit working temperature of the material is exceeded for a long time, the aging of the insulating material will be aggravated, and the insulating life will be greatly shortened. Therefore, in the operation of the reducer, the temperature is one of the important factors affecting the lifespan.
