Features
The flap disc is a tool for grinding and polishing the workpiece surface. The fine abrasive grains (alumina or silicon carbide) are implanted on high-strength polyester sheets under a HV electrostatic field, where all the sand grains are forced pointing outward, and it is manufactured after back flocking, cutting processing process. The fine abrasive particles bonded on the surface are implanted in an oriented way to give a sharp surface and provide the highest grinding efficiency. They are distributed evenly, and bond with special binder to prevent deep grooves and irregular texture. The grinding dust can be discharged easily, which prevent clogging of the dust, protect the flap disc from being easily scratched or cracked. It has the advantages of high strength, strong wear resistance, high grinding efficiency, good polishing effect, good durability. It is widely used in machining, automotive, aerospace and other industries for repairing workpiece surface pits, defects and scratches, removing the paint on the surface of the damaged part, and for polishing crankshafts, rolls and shells, etc.
