The explosion-proof encoder is applicable for being used in explosive and dangerous areas to prevent from ignited or spread into explosive gas environments. Designed with industrial standard housing and proved by ATEX certification, the explosion-proof encoder has the advantages of high resolution, good compatibility, reverse polarity protection, surge protection and ESD protection. It has incremental type and absolute type (single turn/double turn). There are solid shaft and semi-hollow shaft installation forms. The explosive-proof encoder is mainly used for measuring and feeding back (incremental encoder) the rotation speed of the equipment installed in the explosive and dangerous areas, and used for measuring and controlling(absolute encoder) the rotation position of the important equipment.
