The functional safety certified encoder can be used to monitor the safe movement of position, speed, direction, acceleration, etc., and determine the position and speed of mechanical components. It is proved by functional safety certification, and can be easily integrated with the existing communication system, that is to say, it features both high accuracy and safety functions thanks to its self-diagnosis function of the sophisticated control/evaluation system (incremental type); its dual-processor and redundant sensing structure enable it meeting all safety function requirements of functional safety system (absolute type) and suitable for safety systems with SIL3 safety integrity level and PLe performance level.
