Features
The strip stitching die works as a cold stamping die. It stamps several stepped incisions at the overlapped strip ends mechanically. Under tension traction, the incisions move forward and backward in a staggered way and intermesh so as to rivet and stitch the head and tail of the two coils. The bottom surface of the upper die is equipped with the bosses (stamping edge), and the lower die is designed with the notches that match the bosses. The strip stitching die frame constituted by four guiding posts provides reliable guidance, which ensures accurate positioning and movement of the upper and lower dies. This durable and easily operated machine features high stitching efficiency, accuracy and strength, good wear and shock resistance, and sound toughness. It is suitable for stitching thin strips of various sizes in continuous strip production lines such as color coating, pickling and aluminum strip.
