Features
Self-closing coil tong open grippers or clamp coils based on the gravity of the tong itself, relying on the opening and closed device, do not need external power, with safe and reliable lifting. By means of the mechanical fork type slide plate mechanism, the inner and outer grippers move in parallel without damaging the upper surface of the steel coil. The lower part of the inner gripper is attached with centering sleeve to facilitate the gripper accurately fall into the inner hole of the coil. It is characterized by reasonable structure, flexible action, large clamping force, not easy to detach, simple operation and long service life, etc. It is mainly used for handling the vertical coils in steel mills, railway stations, freight yards, and large steel coil users.
