It is of wall type tubular heat exchanger with wall surface of the tube bundle enclosed in the shell as the heat transfer surface. The exchanger is characterized by sturdy structure, strong adaptability, wide range of materials, large flow area, good heat transfer effect, etc. There are different varieties of such heat exchangers: fixed tube plate heat exchangers, floating head heat exchangers, U-tube heat exchangers, stuffing box heat exchangers and eddy current hot film heat exchangers, etc. It can be divided into single-tube pass, double-tube pass and multi-tube pass exchanger according to the structure. This kind of heat exchanger is often used in condensation, heating, reboiling, waste heat recovery and other processes, widely suitable for larger pressure, temperature range and a variety of media heat exchange, and also for the high temperature and high pressure environment or the conditions where large-sized heat exchangers are needed in the production of chemical industry and petroleum industry.
